In the European summer of 2023, I will have the great privilege and pleasure of visiting the remote island of Maderia in the Atlantic Ocean. Often described as the Hawaii of Europe, Maderia is located approximately 500km west off the coast of Morocco but is part of Portugal; my homeland, and birthplace. Known for its fog shrouded enchanted forests within the landscape photography circles, it is also blessed with a spectacular volcanic coastline. I look forward to spending a week immersing myself in discovering as much as I can and sharing new imagery from this archipelago. I expect to release a new image collection from Maderia by early September.
